1) Compare the selling price to the bought for price. If it says it was bought for 0 stardollars, that means the item was free, and it's kind of a waste to purchase it for a big amount of your money. If it was bought for 5 stardollars, and you are purchasing the item for 15, make sure it's really worth it. Did it just come out of the stores? If so, don't even consider buying the item. You'll just be cheated out of your money. If it is an item you haven't seen in the Starplaza for a while, go for it. But if it's a pair of shoes, 15 seems like too much.
2) Consider the rarity of the item. Some users try to pass hotbuys that just came out of the Starplaza for rare items, and sell them for almost double the original amount. Even if you missed that hotbuy, trust me, it's not even worth it. You can find it for cheaper. Just keep looking. Also, remember that not all items being passed off for rare items are rare, some not even close! Before purchasing a "rare" item, you might want to look up the item on google just to be sure.
3) Don't waste your money on wigs not being sold by the original designer. Wigs generally cost about 16 stardollars when originally made, because you can only purchase a certain amount of charms. It is understandable when the original designer sells it for around 22-26 stardollars to earn a profit. But is not understandable when other users purchase their designs and then sell them in their Starbazaar for around 30-36 stardollars. Remember how I said the designers spend around 16 stardollars per wig and they need to earn a profit? Well, it's the same for the other wig sources. Only, they purchase it for about 26 stardollars, so they still need to make a profit, raising the price to earn some extra cash. This is something I have witnessed too many times. To avoid this, only purchase wigs made by a certain designer from that specific designer's Starbazaar. That is where you can purchase the wigs for the cheapest amount of stardollars.
4) Don't always depend on broadcasts for sales. They made advertise that they have a sale going on, but is anything really being sold for a reasonable price? Not really. You are more likely to find better sales by searching in the actual StarBazaar itself, because it allows you to limit your search to a lower amount of stardollars, and search by brand, article of clothing, or color. It is far more convenient and easier to find better deals, so don't always depend on broadcasts for sales.
More coming soon.... be wise when spending Stardollars in the StarBazaar... you never know when someone might be trying to cheat you out of your money.
